Amenities

We provide a full home-cooked breakfast including freshly made porridge and plenty of locally sourced  produce.

We will be happy to give advice on where to eat locally. There is a wide range of places to eat within a relatively short distance as Fort William is only 7 miles away and Spean Bridge a similar distance in the opposite direction. There is plenty for all tastes from Michelin starred restaurants to cosy pubs and even the humble chip shop.

There is an attractive and cosy residents' lounge with a solid fuel stove and original hipped ceiling. For those preferring a view, and for the long, light summer evenings there is an adjoining sun lounge with spectacular views over the Nevis range. We have a wide selection of books from novels to more specialised reference books about wildlife and the surrounding area and guests are most welcome to browse these during their stay. There is also a television and a selection of games in the residents' lounge - for those evenings when the pine marten doesn't come out to play.

There is a drying room available for waterproofs and boots, and other items which may get wet should it rain!
